How It Startedβ¦
Heather, the founder and owner of Wish Social Events approached VVITCH to help with social media. She initially wanted a few consulting hours to help with content creation, but quickly realized that it was better to completely outsource social media to VVITCH Digital.
We wanted to ensure that we were creating content geared towards meeting Heatherβs goals, so we recommended that we start the project with a Content and Social Media Strategy. We also knew that a more robust brand would help Heatherβs content stand out in-feed, so after we defined Heatherβs audiences, we got to work on Brand Refinements and Social Media Templates.
From there, the VVITCH Digital social media team got to work on creating beautiful, goal-focused social media content. Within the first month, Heather was getting compliments from people she knew, saying they got such a better sense of who she is as a person.
Time for a Brand Refinements
When we first started our engagement with Heather, Wish Social Events had a black and white logo and used metallics here and there. We wanted to build out a more comprehensive brand β something that reflects the luxe nature of the work Wish Social Events does. We took cues from brands like Tom Ford, Chanel and Vera Wang β chic, timeless and elegant.
Our lead designer opted for a geometric sans serif front palette with a clean, contemporary feel. The color palette is simple and bold to communicate to Heatherβs audience that Wish Social Events is refined, fresh, forward-thinking, and stylish.
Wish Social Events on Social Media
Because our team is adept at social media content creation, social media templates are a tool we use and love. Itβs also something we are particularly well-qualified to design because we are acutely aware of all of the ways in which these templates need to serve our clients.
For Wish Social Events, we created 3 core templates β one that would work for quotes or announcements, one that would serve to show off work features and another that would lend itself to more thought-leadership type content (so, think text+graphics and a whole lot of versatility).
We made these for stories and for feeds, so we have lots to work with across channels.
